“Doppelgangland ” episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 6pm). Vampire Willow wreaks some havoc in Sunnydale.
Baseball: Atlanta Braves at Houston Astros (TBS, 7pm).
Another airing of The Dead Zone (Sci-Fi, 7pm).
Remember when Data (and Picard) squared off against Moriarty on the Holodeck? Well, you do if you’re geeky like me. It happens in the “Elementary, Dear Data” and “Ship In A Bottle” episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNN, 7pm, 8pm).
The 4th Annual Family Television Awards (ABC, 8pm). I don’t know much about this awards show, except I hear Gilmore Girls snagged at least one award, so the show can’t be too bad, now can it?
If you love the Lone Gunmen, whether you enjoyed their TV series or not, you’ll hate the “Jump The Shark” episode of The X-Files (FOX, 8pm). So very pointless and cruel. I’d hoped for much much better (as a fan of the GunGuys themselves and of their shortlived series).
“San Francisco, firefighters battle a deadly blaze” on Firehouse (NBC, 8pm).
New episodes of Stargate SG-1 (Sci-Fi, 8pm and 10pm) and Farscape (Sci-Fi, 9pm and 11pm).
Debut of a new episode of Monk (USA, 9pm and 11pm). Tony Shalhoub stars. This episode is titled “Mr. Monk Goes to the Asylum.”

Rerun of Alias (ABC Family Channel, 9pm).
“The detectives suspect a copy-cat murderer may be responsible for killing a bisexual woman” on Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA, 10pm). I’m so ready for the Law & Order channel. Really.
Paul Newman, Counting Crows on a rerun of The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).
Wesley Snipes, comic Brian Dunlerras, Marc Anthony on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).
What’s all this then? It’s a change in the Friday and Saturday night TV Land lineups: Fernwood 2Night (TV Land, 11pm), Perfect Strangers (TV Land, 11:30pm), Welcome Back Kotter (TV Land, midnight), and Square Pegs (TV Land, 12:30am).
Ice Cube, Harland Williams, Lyle Lovett on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).
Bruno Kirby and Richard Edson guest star in “The Gas Man” episode of Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, midnight). Directed by Barry Levinson, it’s an unusual episode that looks at the detectives from the point of view of an outsider, at least part of the time. Final episode of the third season. Some people love this episode, others hate it. Say farewell to Detectives Bolander and Felton as Ned Beatty and Daniel Baldwin left the series after the third season.
Barry Manilow on Musicians (Bravo, midnight).

Anne Heche begins her guest stint on Ally McBeal (FX, 1pm). And then there’s an episode with both Robert Downey Jr. and Famke Janssen (FX, 2pm).
Food Finds (Food Network, 1:30pm) visits the Twin Cities. So there’s talk of Nut Goodies and Salted Nut Rolls. And a visit to Sonny’s Crema Cafe (a favorite spot of mine).
